The documented food safety and quality management system has been developed
in-house by integrating the industry standards and requirements; The basis of
Magrabi Agriculture's documented food safety and quality management system is a
risk assessment study which is systematic, comprehensive, thorough, fully
implemented and maintained, and based on the Codex Alimentarius HACCP
principles, quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety
requirements.
REGULATION (EC) No 178/2002 of the European parliament and of the council of 28
January 2002, laying down the general principles and requirements of food law,
establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in
matters of food safety requires the traceability of food at all stages of
production, processing, and distribution.
Magrabi Agriculture has systems and procedures in place that allow
identification information to be made available on demand for any of its
products.
The compliance section provides an update on Magrabi
Agriculture's compliance status as acknowledged by third party certification
bodies that are approved by the standard owners.
Packaging material:
- Packaging materials have to be agreed upon with clients ahead of the season
in order to arrange for the import of the required material as needed.
- As a term of supply; all packaging material must be Food Grade
