Occupational health and safety

Magrabi Agriculture is committed to the protection of human health and safety
on site of its staff, sub-contractors, and visitors.
Managers and supervisors have a key responsibility with regard to ensuring the
health, safety and welfare of staff, contractors, and visitors. In fulfilling
this responsibility, managers have a duty to provide and maintain as far as
practicable, a working environment that is safe and without risks to health.
As a term of supply, all suppliers are requested to provide a technical data
sheet and a material safety data sheet for all products supplied to Magrabi
Agriculture. Based on such information, health and safety hazards are assessed
and the relevant training and personal protective equipment is provided.
Warning signs are displayed in all areas and on all products representing a
safety hazard. First aid boxes and fire fighting equipment are available at all
production sites and all security personnel as well as other employees receive
fire fighting training on a regular basis.
Personal hygiene and health awareness training sessions are conducted on a
regular basis and all workers are required to report any sickness, injuries or
diseases. |
