Laboratories

  • Pathological lab:
    Used to inspect and detect fungal diseases, nematodes, viroids, viruses and other diseases that might affect the planting material.
  • Microbiological and Chemical labs:
    In order to verify that performance goes as planned, Magrabi Agriculture decided to establish on site labs which are run according to ISO 17025 standard. The labs are scheduled for certification by UKAS, United Kingdom, through SGS Egypt during 2007.
  • Residue analysis lab:
    One of the strategic goals of Magrabi Agriculture is to establish an accredited MRL lab that can be used to verify that all our products are within the legal multi residue levels. This project was initiated in 2004 and we are in the process of providing the required resources. It is expected to be functioning according to the required standards by the end of 2008. In the meantime, Magrabi Agriculture uses the services of subcontracted accredited international laboratories.
